Hello,

My name is Pam Anders, I have been sewing since I was a young girl. My mother taught me to sew. I remember coming home from school and sitting on the floor of her sewing room and telling her about my day. Meanwhile she was making clothes for my brother and me. I took my love for sewing with me when I went away to college. I became a costume design major at the University of South Florida.

Now I live far from sunny Florida after 10 years in Alabama (hence the Southern Belle) I now live in Terre Haute, Indiana and have 4 wonderful children. Times have changed but I am still sewing like crazy. My daughters love to have matching dresses or a costume to play in. A dear friend got me started making purses and luggage a couple years ago. She was making her some of that great looking luggage like you see at Hallmark and Specialty Stores. I had so much fun making them, that I now have quite a collection of purses and totes. After lots of great comments I decided to started my own business. So here we are Southern Belle Bags.
